VTA ACE Shuttle Modifications - January 5 - February 22
Due to Super Bowl LX being hosted at Levi’s® Stadium, Stars and Stripes Boulevard will be closed from January 5th to February 22nd. As a result, there will be temporary modifications to where ACE passengers disembark at the Great America Station and the location to where they will connect to the dedicated ACE shuttles.
The following will be modified:
- The afternoon routes will start 20 min earlier
- Shuttles will be approximately 2.5 blocks from the station during this period
While service will continue to operate, riders should expect some adjustments during this period.
Our team is actively coordinating with local partners and event organizers to minimize impacts and ensure a safe and reliable transfer experience. We are also creating a dedicated webpage that will provide the most current information, including maps, boarding locations, and service updates, as details are confirmed.
Passengers are encouraged to check acerail.com and the ACE app regularly prior to travel, as information may change. Construction & Closures
Violet Shuttle
Effective February 23, 2026, the PM ACE Violet shuttle schedule for trains #4 and #6 will be adjusted to ease timing and connecting issues experienced during the heavy commute hours. The schedule can be viewed here.
Orange Shuttle
Effective February 23, 2026, the PM ACE Orange shuttle schedule for trains #4, #6, and #8 will be adjusted to ease timing and connecting issues experienced during the heavy commute hours. The schedule can be viewed here.
Yellow Shuttle
Effective February 2, 2026, the following stops will be temporarily closed through February 10, 2026.
- Great America / Patrick Henry
- Mission College Blvd / G. America Pkwy
- Mission College Blvd / Freedom Circle #1
- Mission College Blvd / Freedom Circle #2
- Mission College Blvd / Juliette Ln
- Mission College Blvd / Burton Dr.
Alternative options include ACE Green Shuttle and VTA Route 59.
Green Shuttle
Effective January 28, 2026, the Green Shuttle stop on Old Ironside Dr., and Tasman will be temporarily closed through February 10, 2026.
Red Shuttle
Effective December 1, 2025, the AM Shuttle will terminate at Mathilda and Almanor Ave. The PM Shuttle will begin service at Mathilda Ave and San Aleso.
